Hong Leong Insurance (Asia) Limited ("HLIA") was established in Hong Kong in 1973 and is an Authorized Insurer registered with the Insurance Authority (Registration No.: 32621). We offer a wide range of general insurance products, including personal, commercial and corporate insurance, to meet the needs of individual, corporate and industrial clients. HLIA's mission is to become the leading provider of personal insurance delivering first class services to its customers. About HLFG
HLIA is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad ("HLFG" or the "Group"), a public listed company in Malaysia.
HLFG is the holding company of a diversified financial group whose businesses consist of commercial banking business, Islamic banking services, insurance and family takaful business, investment banking, futures and stock broking and asset management business. The Group provides a broad range of financial products and services through diverse distribution channels to consumer, corporate and institutional customers in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Cambodia.
About HLAH
HLA Holdings Sdn Bhd ("HLAH") is the insurance holding company of the Group. HLAH's subsidiary Hong Leong Assurance Berhad ("HLA") is a leading Malaysian life insurance company. To expand its influence, HLA merged its general insurance business with that of MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd into a strategic partnership. Today, Family Takaful is provided through Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad. HLAH is also present in Hong Kong and Singapore through its subsidiaries, HLIA and HL Assurance Pte Ltd respectively.
